Wintersun SD Kristen’s Rose (aka “Krista”) has a story behind her name.  

My best friend Sandee and I have been friends for over 44 years.  Kristen, her daughter, was taken from us and she is missed tremendously.  Kris loved cats very much.  She also liked Garfield a lot.  She may not have had any dogs during her short life, but she loved all animals.  We think of Kris as an angel watching over us, and I know she is watching from above.  So Krista is named after Kristen, an angel, and I am sure she will behave like an angel herself. The song on this page I’ll Be There seems to be the right one to demonstrate our everlasting love for Kristen and our memory of her which will never fade.

 Krista came to us from Wintersun Eskies in Idaho.  Lenise Redding brought her out to Dallas for us, and Krista won our hearts the minute we laid eyes on her.  She is a very outgoing little girl who loves to give kisses, and she gets her share back too.  She is also a very inquisitive little puppy.  Nothing escapes her and she has to investigate immediately.  She has certainly been getting a lot of attention from Nikko, GypZ and Chyna, and is a wonderful new addition to our family.  We are going to work hard to help Krista accomplish great things in the show ring.  She definitely has what it takes to be a winner!  Already a UKC champion at 9 months! She has her two AKC majors also.
